03/20/2013 - Dolce Maria & a bent rudder shaft repair. Dolce Maria sustained only minor damage compared to others, which is surprising, as she traveled from one side of the harbor to the other during hurricane Sandy, got lifted back into the water, got dragged across the sand flats, then lifted out at Atlantis Marina. Here are a few pictures of her rudder being split apart.
Here's a few pictures of Romance getting her storm damaged rubrail removed. Once we removed the rail, we gave the deck to hull joint a light sanding just to clean things up a bit.

12/22/2011 - Some of you looked at our "Alice" email address and wanted to know who Alice is, and what she looks like. Well...here she is. PS - Alice is the Office Cat :)
I found little Alice stuck on the JVT Catboat during the restoration process and it was blood at first sight! She bit and scratched me like the idiot I was for thinking I could just lean over and pick a feral kitten. Once the little vampire was cleaned and fed things didn't get much better. She continued to bite and hiss and it was around this same time that she received her name. If you're a Twilight fan, you'll know why. Today, Alice is almost friendly, fully grown, and does her best to keep everything at the office purring along perfectly.:
